Je me suis sentie vraiment au Canada ce matin quand j'ai trouvé le courriel ci dessous dans ma boite de réception.
On nous explique quoi faire devant une oie agressive.

Il s'avère qu'une collaboratrice s'est faite agressée l'an dernier par une oie. Oui. Oui.

Je n'ai retenu qu'une chose: ne pas perdre le contact visuel avec une oie agressive. NE PAS PERDRE LE CONTACT VISUEL ?????

Good Morning All,

We wanted to bring to your attention the possible presence of nesting Canada Geese on or near the property. Please note that Canada Geese will actively defend their nesting sites and may attack those who are in close proximity to their nests. Geese tend to be the most aggressive in the springtime especially when there is a nest nearby.

Helpful Reminders:

·         Do not feed the geese.

·         Be aware of your surroundings.

·         Avoid walking close to the geese.

·         Listen and look for warning signs that the geese may attack if you are close to them.

If you encounter an Aggressive Goose:

·         Show no fear

·         Maintain eye contact – loss of eye contact is shown as fear

·         Stay calm, don’t yell or hit the goose

·         Keep your body directly facing the goose – never turn your back on an attacking goose

·         Walk slowly backwards if the goose hisses or spreads his wings

·         Continue slowly backing away at 90 degree angle if he flies up at your face
